It's done!

I was so determined last night to finish this. I stitched for about 5 hours and just before midnight voila. This is CHS's Pennsylvania German Stocking.

I really want to start Noah's Stocking next but I already have the fabric for Sampler stocking. Decisions decisions.

Last night I was able to put in about 2 1/2 hours on my piece. I'm hoping to be able to get at least that much time in tonight. I've got work most of the day and my schedule is busy all week so this is taking much longer than I'd hoped.

I've been thinking about what I want to start on next. I think I'm going to get the fabric & floss for Noah and just stitch that on Saturdays with the group on the Legacy board. Then I think I'm going to start one of Jeannette Douglas's samplers and mostly work on that.

PA German Stocking Progress

I was able to stitch on this for about 2 hours today. I'm in the final stretch and it's taking forever. I'm guestimating it'll take another 4 hours or so. I'm hoping tomorrow once I get done with my work I can really push myself to get it done.

Right now I'm working on Carriage House Samplings Pennsylvania German Stocking and I'm in the final stretch. I'm hoping to have it done by tomorrow and I can't wait! I'm also working on SB's Sept Monthly Musing but mostly only put a few stitches at a time into it.

It's such a ridiculous contrast to my stocking because the SB piece is on 10 count fabric (I've never stitched such a large count before) and the stocking is on 40 count. It makes the SB piece feel like it's for a kindergartner but I like this whole series so I'm going to stick with them. I think I'll get some good stitching time for the SB piece when we're at the airport waiting for our flight to Vegas in about 2 weeks. Woohoo can't wait!

I did it!

Now I have no excuse for not keep track of my favorite hobby - stitching!
